This development is part of the government’s broader initiative to recognize and support community leaders in their efforts to foster development and stability.
Commissioner Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, who oversees the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, presented the letters to the newly elected Presidents General. In his address, Commissioner Nwabunwanne emphasized the importance of using their mandate to promote peace and harmony within their respective communities.
This move is seen as a crucial step in strengthening community governance and promoting development in Anambra State. The government’s recognition of the newly elected Presidents General demonstrates its commitment to supporting community leaders and promoting peace and stability throughout the state.
