The Ochendo for Soludo Support Group, comprising residents of Okpoko, a densely populated community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, has embarked on a solidarity walk in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

The walk, which began at the Onitsha Holiday Resort, drew men, women, and youths from the community, all singing the governor’s praises and carrying banners expressing their appreciation for his developmental strides.

Members of the support group, alongside community leaders, inspected ongoing government projects in the area, including the new Okpoko General Hospital, the government-funded pipe-borne water project, solar-powered streetlights, ongoing road constructions, and completed ones.

Mr. Martins Eze, Coordinator of Ochendo for Soludo Support Group, Ogbaru Local Government Area, commended Governor Soludo for his commitment to infrastructure development, particularly in Okpoko, which he said had suffered years of neglect.

The walk was a gesture of appreciation and a demonstration of their unwavering support for the governor ahead of the November 8 election. Community stakeholders pledged to reciprocate the governor’s efforts by remaining law-abiding citizens and supporting his re-election bid.
