Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has launched a free vocational training program for 1,000 youths in the state. The initiative, organized by the Solution Youthpreneur Support Group (SYPSG), aims to equip young people with skills to become self-employed and employers of labor.
At the launch ceremony held at the International Convention Centre, Awka, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of investing in youth development. He noted that the program is not just about skills acquisition, but about building a future where Anambra youths can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
The Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mbah, stated that the program is the third pillar of the Solution agenda, which prioritizes youth empowerment. The Chairman, Board of Trustees of SYPSG, Mr. Chike Anyaonu, and the Co-ordinator of SYPSG, Mr. Chinedu Ofojebe, commended Governor Soludo for his commitment to youth development.
The vocational training program is part of Governor Soludo’s broader youth agenda, which seeks to promote entrepreneurship and unlock the potential of young people in the state.
