The immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua, has praised Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for his inclusive leadership and developmental strides in the area.
Chief Igboanua made the commendation during an All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) rally held on April 4, 2025, at the Idemili North LGA Headquarters in Ogidi. The event was organized to endorse Governor Soludo for a second term in office.
Highlighting the governor’s commitment to balanced representation, Igboanua noted that several prominent sons of Idemili North currently hold strategic positions in the state government. Among them are Mr. Ifeanyi Okoma, Commissioner for Works; Chief Law Mefor, Commissioner for Information; Prof. Solu Chukwulobe, Secretary to the State Government; and Special Advisers Ashia Nnabuife (Esq) and Bob-Manuel Udokwu.
“These appointments reflect Gov. Soludo’s leadership model of inclusivity, which has given Idemili North LGA a strong voice in the state,” Igboanua stated.
He also commended the governor for the extensive infrastructural projects currently ongoing in the area, describing Idemili North as a “huge construction site” under Soludo’s administration.
Chief Igboanua expressed optimism that the LGA would shed its historical trend of low voter turnout despite high voter registration. He pledged that the narrative would change in the next governorship election.
Calling on the people of Idemili North to rally behind Governor Soludo, he said: “Let us support a man who has brought landmark achievements to our doorstep. His second term will further consolidate the progress we are witnessing.”
The rally further signaled growing grassroots support for Governor Soludo’s re-election as he continues to champion infrastructural development and inclusive governance across Anambra State.
