The people of Umuokpu Village in Awka South Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, endorsing him for a second term in recognition of his outstanding achievements within just three years in office.

The endorsement followed a community-led tour of key projects executed by the Soludo administration, including the Solution Fun City, Aroma Flyover, and the newly built Anambra State Government House and Lodge, all located in Awka.

Speaking to journalists after the tour, President General of Umuokpu Awka, Dr. Chukwudi Okeke, praised the Governor for transforming the capital city and enhancing its status. He noted that the Solution Fun City alone is set to become a major tourism and economic hub, capable of attracting millions of visitors annually and generating substantial revenue for the state.

In separate remarks, respected stakeholders from the community, including Chief Obiora Mmuo and Lady Beny Anene, commended Governor Soludo for declaring free education from primary to secondary school levels, employing over 8,000 teachers, and making significant progress in infrastructure, security, healthcare, and other sectors.

They described the Governor’s leadership as purposeful and people-centered, affirming their full support for his re-election bid.
