Councilors from the twenty-one local government areas of Anambra State have held a massive solidarity rally to declare their total support for the re-election bid of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.The rally, which began at Dike Park and terminated at UNIZIK Junction, Awka, brought together all three hundred and twenty-six councilors from across the state, who reaffirmed their confidence in the governor’s leadership and development agenda.Leader of the Congress of Councilors in Anambra State and head of the Anaocha delegation, Honourable Ephraim Ononeyi, said the gathering was organised to appreciate Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, grassroots development initiatives, and commitment to improving the living standards of Ndi Anambra.Also speaking, the Leader of the Ihiala Congress of Councilors, Honourable McHenry Nwabueze, and the Deputy Leader of Idemili South Congress of Councilors, Honourable Valentine Mbadugha, described the governor as a pragmatic and people-oriented leader whose policies have transformed critical sectors of the state economy. They said the councilors, being closest to the grassroots, were witnesses to the positive impact of his administration and urged Ndi Anambra to turn out in large numbers to support his re-election.The Councilor representing Urum Ward, Honourable Liberty Nnoyelum, assured that councilors in all twenty-one local government areas would mobilise massively for the governor’s re-election, stressing that continuity was essential to sustain the current pace of reforms.The rally featured solidarity songs and placards expressing support for Governor Soludo’s second-term bid.
