The Leader of the Igbos in Diaspora, Chief Emeka Obieolom, has declared his support for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, describing his leadership as transformational and impactful.Obieolom, who is the Chief Executive Officer of GEONEFT LLC, an international oil and petroleum firm, stated that Governor Soludo has demonstrated exceptional governance through infrastructural development and human capital advancement across Anambra State within his first four years in office.In an email statement sent to journalists on Monday, the Diaspora leader commended Soludo for restoring peace and ensuring security of lives and property, which he said has fostered economic growth and created an enabling environment for investment.“The Governor of Anambra State has earned my respect and support because of his great performance in his first term,” Obieolom said. “Anambra State has witnessed unprecedented development across all local government areas, and his human capital development drive is second to none.”He praised Soludo’s administration for its visible achievements, adding that citizens’ satisfaction is evident in the overwhelming grassroots support and self-driven campaign efforts for the governor’s second term bid.“There are visible projects across the whole state, and people are proud to identify with his administration. That is why many are not just campaigning for him but also funding his re-election project as their own,” he added.Obieolom, who hails from Nri in Aniocha Local Government Area, said a second term would enable Soludo to consolidate his developmental agenda, expand industrialisation, and strengthen the state’s economy.“Soludo’s second term will change the face of Anambra and the entire South East because he is creating more industries and building sustainable businesses,” he said. “The Igbos in the Diaspora are solidly behind him, and I have directed all our members across the world to support the governor’s re-election.”
