As political parties in Anambra State round off their campaign activities ahead of the November 8th governorship election, the Deputy Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council and Chairman of the Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Dr Benjamin Okeji, has called on the electorate to remain focused and exercise their franchise wisely.In a press statement issued in Awka, the traditional ruler of Omasi advised voters to use their ballot cards responsibly to ensure continuity in governance, stating that there is “no vacancy at the Anambra Light House.”Igwe Okeji cautioned the electorate against being swayed by financial inducements or empty promises, urging them to protect their votes and make informed decisions that would sustain the ongoing development in the state.He maintained that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s performance in various sectors had set him apart, describing the upcoming election as one that would reaffirm the people’s confidence in his leadership.
