Apostle Elijah Ewundu, General Overseer of Light Transformation Bible Church, Amawbia, has been inaugurated as the new Commandant of the United Nations Nigeria Chaplaincy (UNC) Corps, Anambra State Chapter.The ceremony, which took place at the church premises, was marked by pomp and celebration.During the event, the International Commandant of UNC Corps, Professor Jide Jesus Ejeh, presented Apostle Ewundu with his certificate of appointment, describing him as a man of integrity and experience well-suited for the role.Professor Ejeh also called on President Bola Tinubu to hasten the passage of the UNC Corps Bill before the National Assembly, noting that the legislation would enhance peace and unity among Nigeria’s diverse religious and cultural groups.In his remarks, Apostle Ewundu pledged to promote peace and mediate conflicts in communities and families across the state.Friends, relatives, and church members, including Oluchi Ewundu, Pastor Nonso Okoye, and Ephraim Elijah, attended the event and expressed support for the new Commandant’s appointment.The ceremony featured praise and worship sessions as well as special choir renditions.
