The Eric Anyamene Foundation has rolled out a series of programmes aimed at supporting residents of Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas of Anambra State during the Christmas season.The initiatives include the distribution of food items, a praise-and-prayer night, and a free medical outreach for residents of the area.As part of the programme, the foundation has begun the distribution of 10kg bags of rice to residents of Ogidi, Nkpor and Obosi Urban. The exercise commenced on December 17, 2025, with foundation members moving across the communities to reach beneficiaries.The foundation is led by Mrs Hope Nchee Egwu, an Obosi indigene and American returnee, who is coordinating the execution of the programmes.In addition to the food distribution, the foundation will host a praise-and-prayer night at the Obosi Township Stadium on December 26, 2025. According to organisers, the programme is intended to provide spiritual encouragement and promote unity among residents during the festive period.A two-day free medical outreach has also been scheduled for December 27 and 28, 2025, at the Obosi Primary Healthcare Centre, Afor-Adike. The outreach will offer medical services to elderly persons, children and other residents who are unable to afford treatment.Founder of the foundation, Engr Eric Nnamdi Anyamene, said the initiatives were organised to support the people of Idemili during the Christmas season and to promote compassion and community service.The Eric Anyamene Foundation has been involved in various humanitarian activities across the area, particularly in the areas of welfare support and community development.
