The newly deployed Permanent Secretary to the Anambra State Ministry of Youth Development, Mr. Ifeatu Emeodi, has officially resumed duty.Mr. Emeodi assumed office on January 13, 2026, and was received at about 10 a.m. by the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Engr. Martin Agbili, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Works, alongside management staff of the ministry.Following his arrival, the new Permanent Secretary was formally introduced to members of the ministry’s management team and taken on a tour of the office environment, during which he identified some operational challenges.Mr. Emeodi said he would engage the Commissioner for Youth Development to discuss the challenges with a view to addressing them, while urging management and staff to cooperate with him in repositioning the ministry for improved service delivery.Earlier, a Holy Mass was held at the ministry’s conference hall by the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ngozika Estate, Rev. Fr. Chigozie Jidere, who prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for the new Permanent Secretary as he undertakes his responsibilities.
